What is this ?
BidRIMS is a new online auction site that focuses only on automotive rims, wheels and accessories, both OEM and Aftermarket.
BidRIMS is unlike other traditional auction sites like eBay, where anyone can place bids and sellers sell to the highest bidder.
With BidRIMS, you PURCHASE the ability to bid on certain items...
...then you SELECT & DECIDE how much to bid and when to bid for any particular rim, wheel or accessory.
What makes your company different from others using these "buy bids" model, mostly on consumer goods?
The "buy bids" model is being run by a range of operators that vary from great to dangerous.
There certainly have been a number of bad reports about certain sites run by some poor businessmen.
Meanwhile, our parent company has been in business since 1983 and brings a 25 plus years of customer satisfaction record to the table.
1.Specialists: we focus only on Automotive Rims, Factory Wheels and Accessory category
2. Experience: we have been in this industry since 1983
3. Quality Control: on 95% of all orders, we inspect, pack & ship from our company warehouse.
4. Ethical: we have an honest reputation and will never deploy any type of "house-bidder bots" that similar sites use to create false competition.
5. Limited Bid Sessions: All Rim & Wheel Bid Sessions are Limited to 8 hours per day based between 2 pm and 10 pm California time.
6. Second Chance Opps: if we have mutiple lots available of the winning item, we will offer to up to the next top three bidders.
How does it work?
Clients first register and buy bids in advance. Bids are worth $0.50 each and are sold in packs of 10, 50, 100, 200 or 300. The more you buy , the less the unit cost. For a 10 pak the cost is $5.00...while the 300 Mega-Pak is $120.00 ($0.40 each).
Bidders have the choice of placing single bids manually, or experienced users can try the automatic “Bid Manager”.
Using the Bid Manager can be effective---however, it can also burn thru your bids super-fast, so be careful how you use the Bid Manager.
Every bid placed, increases the price of the product by $0.50 and increases the auction countdown by up to 30 seconds.
Yes, it is possible you can buy bids and use them all and win nothing.
Each auction description page shows
1. RPP = Regular Retail Price for the wheel or rim (either single or set of four)
2. Current Bid Amount
3. Item Details and Fitment
4. US Shipping Details
4. List of bidders and when
5. Auction ending date (California / Pacific time)
The ‘last bidder standing’ when the clock finally reaches zero, wins the auction. After the auction is over, the winner logs into their BidRIMS account and arranges to pay for the item won plus shipping /handling/insurance charges using PayPal. PayPal accounts are required for all auction payments and auctions must be paid for in full within 5 days of auction close. Canada & International shipping will be quoted separate.
What About Size Fitments?
Rims & Wheels are sized for various vehicle applications.
These are precise measurements that are tailored for your specific car.
Fitments for each rim or wheel on BidRIMS will have application coverage in the description. If your car is not listed in the fitment section, then this wheel will not fit your car.
While BidRIMs guarantees fitment as listed in the description, All Auction Winners are responsible for fitment on their vehicles.
Is this Legal?
According to our expensive Legal Team....yes.
These "Pay To Bid" auctions require skill to determine when bid timing and amount.
Yes, it is possible you can buy bids and use them all and win nothing.
However, please note that, unlike other operators of online auctions, BidRIMS WILL NEVER deploy any type of "house bidder bot" that places random bids to artificially effect auction outcomes. Our company reputation policy will not allow any such unethical behavour.
Who Owns BidRIMS ?
